How does the service work?
The process is Simple. PackMyDorm customers create an account and select the items and quantities they would like to store for the summer. Next the customer will pick up the packing supplies at a designated on-campus location prior to moveout days. After the customer is finished packing, he or she simply needs to bring the items to be stored to the on-campus pickup location closest to his or her residence. PackMyDorm will then take possession of the customer's items, and return them at the end of the summer to your new residence.
Can I store my computer?
Yes. We suggest, however, that you store your computer in its original box in order to keep it safe. PackMyDorm boxes are ok, but please pack the computer very securely.
Do I need to use a PackMyDorm.com box?
We highly recommend the use of our boxes. They are durable and to the spec we need in order to provide insurance for your items. We suggest that you use PackMyDorm.com boxes for all belongings other than original boxes for electronic goods.
What items are restricted for storage?
Yes. Some items have been restricted for liability reasons. Items such as jewelry, cash, perishables, and liquids cannot be stored. For all included items, please refer to the Terms and Conditions page.
Can you ship my boxes home?
Yes, we can ship your boxes worldwide.
Where are the storage facilities?
We use local, secure storage facilities for all of our storage.
Can I access my belongings before the delivery date?
Yes, however, after the cutoff date, you must wait until the first campus goes back to school (usually August) to access your belongings.
What is the size our boxes?
Our boxes are 24x18x18, 4.5 cubic feet. The boxes double walled boxes and securely hold up to 70lbs. We recommend that you order between 3 and 6 boxes as most students can pack their dorm within the confines of this number of boxes.
I don't know where I am going to live in the fall. Is this a problem?
No. Simply log in and update the information as it becomes available.
Are items insured?
Yes. Each box comes with $100 of insurance. Additional insurance is available in increments of $100. Each box may be insured for up to $1,000.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa, and PayPal.
What if I want to store something that isn't on your list of products?

Can I store my stuff past summer?
